This week we have been introducing the experts who will be joining us to speak at our positive psychology mini conference in Chelmsford on 8th June.
Dan Collinson MAPP and Lesley Lyle MAPP, will be running an interactive session about what positive psychology is and how our energy levels and emotions are connected.
Mary Mosoeunyane will be talking about how our unconscious biases cloud our judgement on 'different others' and how positive psychology interventions such as mindfulness can help people manage their conditioned stereotypes, unconscious reactions and expectations.
Dr Carmel Proctor will be presenting on positive psychology in education and focusing on the importance of improving wellbeing within schools, the use of strengths in schools, and her work on the Strengths Gym.
Kelly will be slipping on the lycra and pedalling for 100 miles on 29th July in the Prudential Ride London event.
She has chosen to raise funds for primary schools to have Amazing Me, our digital mindfulness based programme.
The cost of Amazing Me could be as little as £1.20 per child, per year. So imagine, each child could have a healthier mind, giving them tools for life to become a happier, compassionate, kind, more prosperous human being, for £1.20!
Why would you not donate?
Help Kelly reach her goal to offer Amazing Me to as many schools as possible.
Seahorse are just a little bit excited to bring you our Amazing Me video. Allow yourself 3 minutes today to take a look and discover how positive psychology practices can improve the wellbeing of whole organisations. A big task? Then how about improving the mental health and wellbeing of our children then?
Come and join us on 8th June and discover more from experts in the fields of positive psychology and positive education.
