I am currently reading 'Time to Think' by Nancy Klline. A fascinating read that has opened my eyes to thinking time and helping people to think for themselves and opening up a world of possibilities.
What is your planned summer reading?
The most dangerous leadership myth is that leaders are born – that there is a genetic factor to leadership. This myth asserts that people simply either have certain charismatic qualities or not. That’s nonsense; in fact, the opposite is true. Leaders are made rather than born.” ~Warren G. Bennis
“Life is like photography. You need the negatives to develop.” ~Unknown
“Take care of your body. It’s the only place you have to live.” ~Jim Rohn
“Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from an indomitable will.” ~Mahatma Gandhi
“Just remember there is someone out there that is more than happy with less than what you have.” ~Unknown
“Leadership is not magnetic personality – that can just as well be a glib tongue. It is not ‘making friends and influencing people’ – that is flattery. Leadership is lifting a person’s vision to high sights, the raising of a person’s performance to a higher standard, the building of a personality beyond its normal limitations.” ~Peter F. Drucker
“If we did all the things we are capable of, we would astound ourselves.” ~Thomas Edison
“Self confidence is the most attractive quality a person can have. How can anyone see how awesome you are if you can’t see it yourself?” ~Unknown
